Workshop 1: The superuse workshop

Jan Jongert introduced the concept of “Superuse” and its application. Partner with Remi Leclerc, he worked with participants from the stage of harvesting materials, defining potentials and brainstorming on different possibilities in building applications, to sketch modeling and connecting the found objects into new components and useful appliances. Jan Jongert introduced the concept of Superuse first; he also showed some exciting examples to the participants

The Participants were then asked to choose from the recycled materials provided for them, and design their own Superuse products.

With the help from Remi Leclerc, the participants were brainstorming with the material they chose.

The participants drew the sketches of their ideas first

Each group then had to present their design by sketches


After all the presentation, each participant was then asked to vote for their favorite designs
